Explanation
Under section 439 of the CrPC, the High Court's revisional powers include the power to call for and examine the record of any proceeding before any inferior criminal court to pass appropriate orders to rectify illegality or miscarriage of justice.
This also allows the High Court to grant bail, alter or reverse any order, or modify conditions of bail, subject to legal and procedural limitations.
