Explanation

Time = Distance / Speed

Original time = 240 / v

New time = 240 / (v + 20)

So

240/v - 240/(v+20) = 1

v2 + 20v - 4800 = 0

v2 + 80v - 60v - 4800 = 0

v(v+80) - 60(v+80) = 0

(v+80)(v-60) = 0

v = 60
