Government of Pakistan announced to observe ‘Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir’ (Day of Exploitation in occupied Kashmir) on August 5 to mark the Indian government’s move of scrapping special status of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan will mark siege day on August 5th.

The police Martyrs Day is observed on August 4th across Pakistan, aimed to pay homage to services of police department.

It was on February 27, 2019, when PAF exhibited supreme professionalism by shooting down two Indian Air Force jets, a MiG-21 Bison and a SU-30. The downed MiG-21 pilot, wing commander Abhinandan, whose aircraft had crashed inside Pakistan’s territory was captured.
Abhinandan was later released and handed over to India on March 1, 2019.

Pakistan Day is a public holiday in Pakistan to commemorate the 23rd March Lahore Resolution adopted in 1940 at Lahore Minto Park, And also the adoption of Pakistan’s First Constitution on 23 March 1956 that marked the successful transition – from the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The 75th anniversary of the foundation of a free government in the erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir would be observed on October 24, 2022 with traditional fervour.
On October 24, 1947, the free government was installed in this territory, commonly known as Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), after its liberation by the locals from the yoke of Dogra rule, and Sardar Mohammad Ibrahim Khan (late) was appointed its founding president.
